Every call the AI books becomes a real event on the calendar you connected to Cal.com.

## Create a Cal.com account

Sign up at cal.com — the free Individual plan is enough — and connect your Google, Outlook or iCloud calendar to it.

**Note:** Integrations are available on Starter and above. A free trial can't connect them.

## Generate an API key

In Cal.com go to Settings → Developer → API keys and generate a key.

## Paste the key into Ahoya

Open Integrations → Cal.com and paste the key. Your event type is detected automatically; if your account has several, Ahoya asks which one AI bookings should go into.

## Test the connection

Use Test connection on the card. From then on the AI checks your real availability before offering a time, so it can't book a slot you've already filled.

### Do I need a paid Cal.com plan?

No. The free Individual plan is enough for AI bookings.

### Can I connect Google Calendar directly instead?

Not today. Cal.com is the calendar connection, and it in turn connects to Google, Outlook or iCloud.
