    Callers hear your normal ring and your team answers like always. Only missed calls — when you're busy, closed, or nobody picks up — roll over to the AI. This is the safest way to start: you lose nothing, and the AI simply catches what would have gone to voicemail.

What's the difference between AI Backup and Ring Me First?

AI Backup relies on your carrier's “forward when unanswered/busy” — your phone rings and only true misses reach the AI. Ring Me First routes through an Ahoya relay that rings your cell first for ~20 seconds during open hours, giving more predictable hand-off timing and after-hours coverage. Ring Me First is Growth-plan.

Will I lose calls while I test a mode?

No. Every mode ends at the AI, so an unanswered call is answered rather than dropped. You can switch modes at any time from Numbers.
