01Create a Cal.com account
Sign up at cal.com — the free Individual plan is enough — and connect your Google, Outlook or iCloud calendar to it.
Integrations are available on Starter and above. A free trial can't connect them.
02Generate an API key
In Cal.com go to Settings → Developer → API keys and generate a key.
03Paste the key into Ahoya
Open Integrations → Cal.com and paste the key. Your event type is detected automatically; if your account has several, Ahoya asks which one AI bookings should go into.
04Test the connection
Use Test connection on the card. From then on the AI checks your real availability before offering a time, so it can't book a slot you've already filled.

- Do I need a paid Cal.com plan?
- No. The free Individual plan is enough for AI bookings.
- Can I connect Google Calendar directly instead?
- Not today. Cal.com is the calendar connection, and it in turn connects to Google, Outlook or iCloud.
